Letts Construction delivered a durable outdoor canopy for Te Puke Primary School, providing all-weather cover over the astroturf play area.
The 36.0m x 12.0m structure features a 4.0m stud height with a 24.0m x 3.0m cantilevered roof, supported by 16 H5 250SED timber poles. Galvanised steel box beam clear-span rafters and purlins ensure structural strength, while 0.50-gauge roof cladding with trafficable clearlight panels allows natural light to filter through, creating a safe, functional, and bright outdoor space for students year-round.
